LOS ANGELES, CA — July 29, 2026 — CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), the global humanitarian organization founded after the 2010 Haiti earthquake by Sean Penn and Ann Lee, today launched “Todos con Venezuela” (“All with Venezuela”), a $5 million emergency response campaign to help Venezuela recover and rebuild, one month after the devastating back-to-back earthquakes that struck the country. Powered by Tiltify — the fundraising infrastructure platform connecting creators and causes at scale — the campaign opens with a generous $500,000 lead gift from the FIFA Foundation.

On June 24, twin earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck northern Venezuela within 39 seconds of each other — the strongest to hit the country in over a century — marking it as the most devastating natural disaster in the nation’s history. CORE rapidly deployed a team to join local partners on the ground, addressing the immediate needs of families in the hardest-hit communities by delivering food, water and emergency supplies. As the response now moves from immediate relief into long-term recovery, the organization is working around the clock to get displaced families back home and is calling on the larger community to help fund the road ahead.

Todos con Venezuela is built around a simple, visual measure of collective progress: Rays of light. Each Ray represents $1,000 raised, and the campaign’s $5 million goal will be marked by 5,000 Rays — together forming a sunrise over Venezuela, rising ray by ray with every donation, fundraiser, creator, partner and event.

The campaign centers on three phases of support: helping families recover, rebuilding infrastructure, and strengthening communities for the long-term. Story by story, beam by beam, CORE will document the work on the ground — emergency supplies, debris removal support for displaced families, safe shelter and home recovery, livelihoods and long-term community rebuilding — giving donors a direct line from their support to its impact.
