Our work in North Carolina.

CORE began working in North Carolina in 2018 in response to Hurricane Florence. Since then, we have responded to several natural disasters, led active disaster preparedness programs, and supported communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

Beginning in 2023, CORE expanded its health access program to address the opioid epidemic among marginalized populations and provide vital overdose prevention and education to community members.
