Your generosity helps people in crisis today – and gives them the resources to face future challenges. Rather than simply provide one-time assistance, our mission is to build resilience within communities, so they have the skills and infrastructure needed to navigate the next disaster on their own.
CORE is a global humanitarian organization with a footprint on five continents, responding to natural disasters, conflict, food insecurity, and public health emergencies. Over the next three years, we are committed to deploying to a dozen crises annually across at least six U.S. states and eight countries globally.
Together, we have changed the lives of more than 13.5 million people since 2010. However, the crises we face are becoming more frequent, destructive, and destabilizing – and they’re compounding the vulnerability of communities worldwide. Our work is far from over. Pays for a box of Naloxone that can reverse an overdose. CORE’s North Carolina team is working to reduce the crippling number of opioid-related overdoses in their communities.

At $1 a seedling, your gift plants 50 seedlings in Haiti—mangroves, cashew, tamarind, and more—while covering the local labor to get them in the ground. Each seedling restores degraded land, fights erosion, and helps feed families.

Provides vocational training for young entrepreneurs in Ukraine. Restoring livelihoods restores much-needed stability for families after nearly four years of war.

Creates safe spaces for women and children in war-torn Sudan. CORE works with local partners to provide mothers and children with flexible cash assistance to purchase food and medicine, and to ensure access to safe spaces with psychosocial support.

Repairs a damaged home for a family struggling to recover after a hurricane. We’re leading permanent roof repair, mold suppression, floodwater remediation, and other rebuilding efforts in vulnerable communities, and bridging the FEMA funding gap for low-income and uninsured families.
