In addition to documenting the scope of a particular crisis, needs assessments illustrate the unique needs of affected populations and the challenges they face. In doing so, these reports lays the foundation for a strategic and efficient emergency response. CORE’s Monitoring and Evaluation team also produces learning briefs, which document the effectiveness of a variety of programs implemented around the world.
CORE shares our learnings with the humanitarian community, including across networks such as Relief Web, to serve as resources for other humanitarian organizations implementing similar programs.
To ensure CORE documents the effectiveness and safety of its programs, we monitor and evaluate our interventions and take on feedback from impacted communities who received cash and voucher assistance (CVA). Browse case studies below or click here to learn about how CORE has implemented CVA programs to empower communities around the world.
CORE’s work is powered by generous donors. Year after year, their support has propelled us into new geographies and communities around the world. Explore our Impact Reports to learn about the inspiring stories of community resilience, our dedicated staff and partners, and all the people that make our work meaningful. These reports also include information on our financial systems, the investments we’ve made in our staff and governance practices and our approach to community building worldwide.
